How do I place an Auto Bid?
When you view a particular lot, click the Place Bid button to open a new window with all information on that lot. Then click Auto Bid to open another window. You can either choose your maximum bid from the pull down menu, or enter your maximum bid in the box below that. Enter your paddle number and password, then click Send Bid. You can view your bids as well as your auto bids in the My Bids section of the Online Auction.
Bidding Increments Under $50 -> $1
$50 - $100 -> $5
$100 - $250 -> $10
$250 - $500 -> $25
$500 - $1,000 -> $50
$1,000 - $2,500 -> $100
$2,500 - $5,000 -> $250
$5,000 - $10,000 -> $500
$10,000 - $25,000 -> $1,000
$25,000 - $50,000 -> $2,500
$50,000 - $100,000 -> $5,000
$100,000 - $250,000 -> $10,000
$250,000 - $500,000 -> $25,000
$500,000 - $1,000,000 -> $50,000
$1,000,000 plus -> $100,000
What happens if I place a bid in the last 2 minutes of the auction?
Levis Online Auctions has an anti-snipe function that will automatically extend the auction for 2 minutes if a bid is placed during the last 2 minutes of the regular auction. This extension will be repeated until two minutes have passed without any further bidding.
